What do Mary, Queen of Scots and a goat that tells fortunes have in common?
Both welcomed the thousands of visitors to Langside 450 in Queens Park on the 12th and 13th of May.
The event marked the 450th anniversary of the Battle of Langside, where Mary lost a crucial battle that effectively marked the end of her reign.
The Langside Community Heritage, Inhouse CIC, and many other organisations brought the community together to celebrate the local history by running free, family-friendly events throughout the weekend. There were live performances, falconry, arts and crafts, and even trolley jousts to entertain people of all ages.
Langside 450 was a huge success, with over 10,000 people attending and many local businesses embracing the festivities.
With the sun shining and community spirit in the air, the weekend was a great example of the Southside of Glasgow at its best.
